It's a very patriotic thing to have been a Senator of Arizona/POW in the Vietnam War and yes It's also good thing being Governor of Alaska and good to be Senator of Illinois and Senator Delaware.

- Mr. Gates actually did nothing wrong and got arrested and it upset him that this happened. The officer got upset that even after finding out who the gentlemen was and now being questioned by him, maybe even with an angry tone, he then felt that he could cite him for that and did.

- After getting Mr. Gates ID's that should have been enough, but Mr. Gates ask the officer for his, which was reasonable....why the arrest?

- This is the year 2009 and we're still stuck in the 1960s and 1970s. I say that because the day that we got a new president named Barack H. Obama, everything that's been hidden for years has all of sudden surfaced. This is happening simultaneously throughout the United States and Worldwide.

- Maybe I'm missing something, but all things considered, maybe she's (Judge Sotomayor) not as smooth a (double talk) talker as her counter parts, but I don't think that disqualifies her or make her a racist.

- I do understand what's being said about Judge Sotomayors. Why is it that any of that would be something that has to be fear by anyone considering what everyone of color has endured since the inception of this country.

- I know that this is only one issue that we're actually discussing and the woman that told the lie should be punished to the fullest extent of the law. First and foremost she's teaching that child that she can do the same thing.

- I totally agree that a lot of religious holier than thou people are looser and more unhanded than people that don't even go to church. What's even sadder is these people are riddled with guilt and shame, but choose to hide behind religion.
